I have taken 17 CLEP exams, though Calculus was not one of them. So I can give you some general CLEP information, but not too much about the Calculus CLEP itself.
exams are multiple choice, and if you pass you get college credit. In most cases you have 90 minutes to complete the exam.
specific info about the Calculus CLEP is here: www.collegeboard.com I'm not sure what you mean by a Calculus III CLEP, as there is only one Calculus CLEP. I'm guessing that the Calculus CLEP would correspond with a Calculus I class.
with your college to make sure on that, as well as to be sure that they will accept it. If you want to see how ready you are to take the CLEP, I would suggest checking out the Official CLEP Study Guide from your library, as it gives you a practice exam for each CLEP.
will give you a good idea of the difficulty of the actual CLEP test.
it goes well! CLEP is a great way to get college credit, so I hope you are able to take advantage of it!
