typically they dont count til your Jr year.

you will want to do the best you can anyway because SOME Uni's i have heard do look at all hs grades.

psh, i hope not! *ahem*..2.8 GPA..*cough cough* but really, i've heard that freshmen year isn't very important at all because your just adjusting to high school.

most important years are your sophomore and junior years. I dont think you can make it up by taking physics because you should have 3 years of lab science such as biology, chemistry, AND physics.

it really depends on what college your applying too. im not sure if they'll revoke your admission because they probably saw that you had 2 D's anyways when they accepted you, right? hope this helps!

Freshman year affects your cumulative GPA.

colleges recalculate your GPA based on their own measures (maybe taking out freshman year or easy classes like gym). But either way, colleges will see your freshman year grades. If you show an upward trend in your grades, they will probably not care as much if you did poorly your first year.
