Why don't you just tell Alex that you have no interest in Jason? Love works best when there are no hidden emotions.
have a pattern of judging relationships and emotions before they ever really know the truth. So, please, tell Alex the truth.
him that you like him and that you want to give him a shot.
you can do the same with Jason, as well.
him that you just want to be friends and that you regret dancing with him.
sooner he knows the truth, the faster he can heal. If he gets mad or angry with you, then you guys weren't friends in the first place. he was just trying to get with you.

I am sure that it sounds great to a girl to have 2 guys caring deeply about her but you see what happens.
can't have a relationship with 2 guys or in your case you went out of your way to make Alex feel jealous and to him it definitely seems as if you made up your mind to be with Jason.
may have to learn the hard way, that one just can't have ''everything'' then the decision is taken out of your hands often.like it seems to be the case now.Alex got the message you put out there in front of him through your behaviour and he retreated and leaves you with Jason.
just have to learn that this doesn't work that guys have feelings too, and that you play one against the other can sometimes end up with you in end standing there with nobody.
can apologize to Alex..,I don't know what he will say or do but I hope you learned something from the way you acted, so that you will be more considerate in the future and also think about the guys feelings if both of them care about you, you can only choose one.nobody wants to be the fifth wheel.
