If you aren't sure about what you want to study, think about things you enjoy/ed outside school, hobbies etc.
think about what you studied at GCSE and why you liked it (if it was the teacher or environment, obviously you shouldn't take it for that reason, but if you liked it because of the course content for example, a certain unit in the subject, research different specifications of Unis that have that unit in it too) Until you're completely sure about what you want to study, I suggest you look at prospectuses online or order them from the uni website until you are sure what you want to study.
don't want to start a course and get into debt only to realise in a few months you aren't interested in the course and would rather do something else.
this had been useful :)
