My school has 200-350 people in a grade approximately and most classes average 15 people, but quite a few advanced classes have 6 or 7 people. I only have nine people in my fifth period and my friend has five in his fourth period. I go to a middle sized school but my mom went to a junior high that had 1,000 people a grade, then to a high school with a graduating class of 6 students.
