A 0.0470- kg ball swings on the end of a 1.310- m-long string. On one swing the tension in the string is 1.254 N at the lowest point. By the second swing the ball has lost 6.3 percent of its energy.

is the ball's speed at the lowest point on the second swing?

i've been looking into graphic design courses in scotland. i'm going into 5th year and i'm doing 5 highers: art, (crashing higher) graphic communication, english, history (or modern studies, not sure yet) and physics. i was just wanting a rough idea of what kind of highers and at what grades i need to have them at to be able to study graphic design at university.

would physics count as a math based subject, because i'm rubbish at maths, but really good at physics. queer, i know.

A close friend of mine knows someone who had a roommate, whose uncle invented a device which allows the average automobile to achieve over 500 miles/gal. He sold the design for the device to a large, undisclosed oil company and shortly after passed away (under suspicious circumstances i might add). Rather than develop the technology for the benefit of all mankind- not to mention the environment as they had promised (otherwise why would he sell it to an oil company?), they locked the secret away in a vault where it remains to this day.

oil company of course, deny any knowledge or even the existence of such a device.

that is known about the device is that it was design to function by some yet undiscovered principle of physics. I am convinced that every detail of this story is absolutely true and accurate.

would you as a diehard skeptic, convince me otherwise?. Is this story or any of the essential features falsifiable?

I need to write a paper for physics. i am having trouble understanding how the USB plugged into the port creates energy to power a digital picture frame. if you could explain how the USB gives energy from the computer to the picture frame that would be very helpful! Thank you!

If you've seen the movie on quantum physics, "What the Bleep do we Know?" you know that quantum physicists have proved that humans can walk on water one simply has to know they will. Question Are the "miracles" (actual phenomenon) Jesus performed actual abilities we have, but we've simply forgotten how to do?
