can anyone give me a list of sites for the following_-? i know some of them are co relating but still. science technology(gadgets) space technology give as many sites as you like updates on physics updates on chemistry research on modern physics

Why is gravity such a weak force? It becomes strong for particles only at the Planck scale, around 1019 GeV, much above the electroweak scale (100 GeV, the energy scale dominating physics at low energies). Why are these scales so different from each other? What prevents quantities at the electroweak scale, such as the Higgs boson mass, from getting quantum corrections on the order of the Planck scale? Is the solution supersymmetry, extra dimensions, or just anthropic fine-tuning?

A football is placed on a line 25m from the goal post.
kicker kicks the ball directly toward the post, giving the ball an initial velocity of 21.0m/s [47deg above the horizontal]. The horizontal bar of the goal post is 3.0 m above the field.
far above or below the bar will the ball travel?

make a new type F-16 with no weapons/combat stuffs and somehow defy the laws of physics to shove in the engine from the F-35? Mach 3 AWAY!

Two physics students are trying to determine the instantaneous speed of a bicycle 5.0m from the start of a 1000 m sprint.
use a stopwatch to measure the time taken for the bicycle to cover the first 10m. If the acceleration was constant, and the measured time was 4.0 s, what was the instantaneous speed of the bicycle at the 5.0 m mark?

Hi, just wanted to know if anyone knows a good book to get started in Cosmology with a good amount of mathematics, I'm in my last year of BSc in Physics. I need a book like this because i'm unsure about doing postgrad in high energy particle physics or astrophysics. Thanx!

I'll be starting university next year (in Australia) and I want to do a bachelor of Advanced Science, majoring in Physics, but I have NO IDEA what kind of careers I could get into with this degree (I'm interested in Astronomy/Astrophysics and to some extent, theoretical physics). I've heard that career prospects for physics postgraduates are very, very hard to get. Is there anyone who has gone through this process and have found a job after graduating with a physics degree? Where can I find jobs in Australia, mainly NSW? I have to make a choice in a few months, and physics is virtually the only thing I'm interested in. HELP! Also, what could I do to raise my chances of getting employment when I leave uni, such as doing a double degree or something?
